the night time shite is overrated
LSU fans like night games because it gives them time to have epic tailgates - this belief that their players gain extra abilities or their fans get extra loud when the earth rotates to the point where you can't see the sun is voodoo BS
but hey I like a night game too
plenty of drinking time before the game

it is and it isn't, not so much that it rattles opposing players in 2016 (back in the day i believe it did) but more in that the crowd can pump the LSU players up and if something good happens can help with the momentum of the game.
Every once in awhile it does still rattle an opponent. See Wallace, Bo.

To be honest the crowd is noticeably louder at night games as opposed to 230 kickoff. Not saying it gives us any special voodoo powers, but it is definitely harder to hear.
