Someone should have just bumped that thread because it's identical to this one with inevitability the same result.

The sad part is your biggest accomplishment against LSU is that you took a linebacker that we wanted. Think about that for a second. And for what it's worth Devin White > Leo Lewis

Member Leo's recruitment

I do actually. State FALSELY promised him stability, NFL future, a chance to compete for titles(lol), and play for the State of MS amoung many other sales pitches. Ftr No, I'm not inferring to payments.

So let's check how that's going

Stability- well he's now playing for his 2nd DC in less than 2 years. I'm not even going to begin on how poor a hire it was, and that's my opinion.... As well as Hundreds of thousands of UGA and Louisville fans.

NFL future- still possible though 1st day pick is looking bleak. jury is still out.

Titles- - any recruit that believes that line deserves what they get. Unless the Egg=championship you're not sniffing one in your lifetime. The disparity of the top and bottom of the SEC is real. MSU outside of a handful of years is the bottom or close to it.

Play for the state of MS - congrats, you got one.

I believe state will be and is his leader. It's hard to pull kids from Mississippi and we know this but if we can get him on campus I think we haves little bit greater than 50# chance of landing him

The baffling question is why does State pick some kids to pay. In the end, as Hillary would say, what difference does it make?

Won't matter either way LSU will have a top 5 class and the best D.C. in the business for LBers to play for

I think if we get him on campus we then have a 50% chance. He will probably visit moo state the last weekend before NSD as well.

What I don't understand is how LSU fans think their program is so good. You have no chance of winning a title soon. None.

No team in the SEC outside of Bama is worth anything atm.

The talent level is pretty high down in Baton Rouge man. They'll pull in another top 5 class too. Dave Aranda will have that defense rolling in year two, they just made the Heisman trophy winner and Bobby Petrino look silly for 4 quarters.

And now they have an OC that will utilize the players strengths on offense. I think to most college football fans that actually follow it closely know LSU is probably the team with the best shot at supplanting Bama. They're the only team with a talent level top to bottom that matches up, with the big difference being QB, the trenches, and play calling. They now have an OC that will get solid QB play, and they've recruited very well in the trenches the past couple years and are most likely gonna bring in a monster DL class this year.

You don't know a damn thing dude

All of that is true. And it's completely meaningless because it's not nearly enough to beat Alabama.

We've had like 3 straight top 5 classes, going for 4 soon and we have one of the best DC'sin the country. We also just signed one of the top available OC's in the country.
