What I don't understand is how LSU fans think their program is so good. You have no chance of winning a title soon. None.

Wow. If you really believe this you have no knowledge whatsoever about college football.

247. There are 7 4* recruits on ESPN and 5 on Rivals, and some will get bumped up later. So our class ranks 5th in the West. What's the deal?

5 in the west is the deal. You aren't even top 4 in the SEC combined. You think that's a big deal. That's just about last in the west. Step your game up son.

You ever think that maybe a kid that goes to Starkville High School might be a fan of Mississippi State? It's really not that outlandish tbh

True. He was such a fan he initially committed to their hated rival.

Your notion makes a little less sense now huh?

This is a dead horse. Our class is fine, but missing a couple of pieces. We are 20th nationally, and while rankings are usually off concerning us, I'm fine with it.

He is free to go wherever he wants to go. Please just don't start that "State paid him $80,0000" bullshite if he ends up at MSU.

Not one said we were. There are only about a dozen "powerhouse programs" in the country.

Yeah but Ole Miss did pay players. Your own fricking player said so on national tv. And to think, you stupid fricks actually believed all those high profile recruits actually want to be in Oxford because it was so great. Now you're all running around like roaches trying to save your hypocritical coach from being implicated in your scam of a football program.

We might have given some extra benefits to players.

State has been found guilty and implicated in situations just as bad if not worse than OM.
Redmond gets "extra" benefits from booster

Scam Newton and MSU price

You say no recruits want to be at OM. If that's the case why would they want to be at State? Why would a kid have to get paid to play at OM, but you can't fathom the possibility that they would have to get paid at State?

Here's an excerpt from your Cam article

quote:

Bell said the reason he's providing details of the alleged scheme is because he wants to make sure everybody knows Mississippi State didn't break NCAA rules during its recruitment of Cam Newton, who has emerged as the Heisman Trophy front-runner in his first season at Auburn.

Thanks for proving MSU was not guilty of any wrongdoings in the Cam Newton recruitment

It's pretty common knowledge that State was bidding on Newton. The article doesn't disprove anything. Thats why I linked it.

Are you one of these douchebags that believes Oxford is a megatropolis? Some of you simpletons really embarrass yourselves on here, even if it is an anonymous website.

As someone who doesn't have a dog in this fight- I've been to both towns during football games, Oxford is exponentially better than Starkville. Why anyone would choose to live there for any period of time is beyond me.
