What most people don't realize is that Trump has switched parties several times. He changes when it's financially and/or politically expedient for him. Cracks me up that he has such a fan base among the poor and middle-class southern whites. He couldn't care less about them. He even criticizes former POW's. The man is the pure definition of a megalomaniac.

The Republican Party has galvanized a lot of votes by scaring people with the 2nd amendment controversy. And it's worked beautifully. A lot of yahoos actually believe the the government is coming after their guns. That never would or could happen and there are far, far more serious matters on the table than guns.

In order for any POTUS to get anything done, he or she has to have Congressional support, from both parties. Trump has managed to even alienate members of his own party, so he sure as hell wouldn't be able to do anything from the Oval Office, except embarrass his own party. I, as a Republican, am very thankful that he has absolutely zero chance of winning. Maybe this will finally be a lesson to the party, and the next nominee will be somebody worthy of the nomination. I'm voting for Hillary so that the Republican Party can regroup in the next election. If Trump won, the party would take years to heal.

I am by no stretch a gun nut, but if you read direct quotes from many in the Democratic Party, you will see that that is what is intended. Not to remove them from gun owners, but to make it fiscally impossible to own one. They want to put a 25% tax on guns. they want to make gun manufacturers liable for crimes committed with guns. Sounds like they want to do away with guns to me.

Not anymore. Obama got a LOT of things done through executive order while he was President, and Hillery has already said she would do the same in regards to gun control.

agreed they could never get the millions of them even if they wanted them.

see I have a hard time believing you are a republican and maybe I'm wrong. There is nothing you've said other than a dislike for Trump that leads me to believe you have republican values and in fact you sound like a democrat since we all seem to be able to determine what the other person is just based off of the message so we type.
