But they have genuine shite to deal with and to basically say nothing happened because Gainesville is fine is a farce, dude.

It's absolutely ridiculous for any Florida fan to use the hurricane as any type of excuse that the game wasn't played.

2005: Hurricane Rita hit the Louisiana coast on a Friday night 3 weeks after Hurricane Katrina hit. Rita was a Cat 5 storm in the gulf and was a Cat 3 when it hit Lake Charles. Rita caused $12 Billion in damage in the U.S.

LSU was scheduled to play Tennessee that Saturday night. The game was rescheduled to Monday night and the game went off without a hitch while 100's of thousands of Louisiana residents were without homes.

So................. give me a break with your whining.

I'm not. Again, I advocated for it to be played that weekend but in BR because I wanted the game to be played.

What I'm bitching about is the fans acting like the hurricane did no damage to Florida.

Sounds like Florida may have just been smarter than Louisiana. Sorry all you have to live for is football but calling off a game when there's a category 4, at one point category 5, hurricane potentially knocking on your front door seems perfectly reasonable. Unless you think staying home when the national hurricane center tells you to leave is a good idea. You didn't learn anything from your own experiences with hurricanes, did you?
