We can agree to disagree.

Saturday was an opportunity to get a division road win. To break a 2 game losing streak. To break a 3 game losing streak in that stadium.

Sailing balls over the middle not only hurt the chance for the W but they don't put Eason in a position to build his confidence. Missing on the sidelines or corner of the end zone are just incompletions. And even the incompletions pull the defense's attention away from their run disciplines (shallow crosses and hard slants don't do that).

I agree that Florida and Auburn will be much tougher contests. The work to get better can be Monday through Friday. If the weather is better, it wouldnt shock me to see much more Nauta, Ridley, and Woerner in the receiving game. I think Chaney changes the game plan a lot to suit each opponent.

Certainly this was the top priority, however, South Carolina never should have made it as close as it was. They are a pretty bad team. We have always out recruited them by a long shot. And even by their standards they were left with no talent.

This was a lost opportunity. However, we can agree to disagree. Unlike some others on this board, I have no problem whatsoever with people disagreeing with me.

That is exactly my point, though. He needs the experience. If he can't pass over the middle now, I sure don't want him to try it against Florida and Auburn....and I don't think we can win without throwing over the middle against quality opposition.

Certainly progress can be made Monday through friday, but there is NOTHING like game time experience. In practice things are more relaxed and you know there are fewer consequences if you mess up. In a game you are more focused and you just learn more from live reads.

Like I said...in my opinion, we should have had a 3 TD lead going into the 4th quarter and he could have had plenty of experience.
