I have ticket but the Carolina "fans" I'm scheduled to ride down with and tailgate with are slowly one by one backing out

Heard there isn't an open hotel with 160 mile radius of Columbia.
Edit: websites like Expedia and Trivago are showing rooms available now. Maybe folks cancelled them when they moved the game?

I heard that Columbia, Greenville, Aiken/Augusta, and Charlotte are all full. People are going to Atlanta and Asheville now.

OK. Let me look for two more for my wife and son (he's never been to a game before, he's 7) and I'll get back to you about that one. I would use that one and get them a couple that sit together. Thanks.

With a little help from mother nature it could be a epic weekend with my son. Going to pull a camper up to Charlotte and hopefully catch the 500. Wake up Sunday morning and head to Columbia.

WG - what's your take on the crowd so far and if there are any tix floating around for the UGA section?
Was toying with the idea of bringing my 9 yr old son down but wasn't sure how crowded it was or if UGA tickets would be available.
