I do not blame UF for not wanting to travel anywhere with the magnitude predicted for this storm

Up until an hour ago it was all sunshine and roses in Gainesville. This was all just a ploy to not get forced to travel somewhere to play. If this had been Bama/UF the Gators would be making reservations in Tuscaloosa right now...

Sankey is weak sauce.

You are talking about what happened after a hurricane. There was no unkown then. You were in clean up mode at that time. This is a devastating storm that will hit Gainesville less than 24 hours before a football game is played. Lives are at stake. A football game is meaningless right now. It's all about priorities right now.

You know as well as I do this has nothing to do with that.

cancelling this game as opposed to moving it, does nothing to protect lives or help minimize damage or anything of that nature. Honestly to hide behind that as an excuse, because you aren't in the best condition to play is shameful.

You know if Florida was chasong wins to win the East and were fit to play while LSU was banged up, this game would be happening at any cost.

You need to stop. Wow, an executive with an insurance company. Are you sure you really want to admit that? The biggest decision you made was how much money you could steal from your beloved insured. The only risk you and your minions take is when your reward is greater. Regarding Opal, that was 21 years ago, and in the words of the National Hurricane Center, their predictive capabilities and accuracy are markedly improved over the last 15 years. Translated for your insurance scientific mind, Baton Rouge had a 0% chance of being a target this weekend, so your stance that because of hurricane predictive inaccuracies, waiting until the last minute to make a decision was BS.
Have a nice day and I hope your premiums get raised!

This is really what this is all about for LSU fans. They have sat around all week thinking UF would have no choice but to go to BR and play this game and they got excited about that being the case. Now that is isn't the case , they're pissed. I wouldn't want to give up a home game to go play in BR either. Especially to go play in BR!

You are a fricking idiot. This had not a god damn thing to do with that. We just wanted to insure the game got played this weekend. Not one god damn one of us gave a flying frick where it was played.
