Gainesville doesn't flood like Louisiana does. The city is 200 feet above sea level.

It doesn't have to flood like Louisiana in order to flood enough to cause major damage and disruption on gameday.

Gainesville is expected to get 3-5" of rain through Sunday. Shouldn't be any flooding.
