I mentioned this guy in another thread. A poster from tBigSpur does post game break downs of our team and puts them on YouTube. The channel is called: Gamecock Videos. He did a really good job on one for the Kentucky game. Had the offensive play go in real time, then again in slow mo highlighting where mistakes were made. Let you easily see things like whiffs on blocks by the OL, but more importantly for those with the same doubts that I had on Roper, it let you see all of the open targets that McIlwain never even looked at. In addition to poor/spotty OL play, we have a true freshman QB playing like a true freshman QB. He seems to lock on to one WR and if its not there then throws it away, makes poor reads on almost every read option play, and when he decides to finally tuck it and run he runs into the line or straight to the sideline. I'm not dogging the young man, simply pointing out that while having to deal with a shite OL, Frosh QB and having 2 of your top 3 WRs out that Roper made the calls that put our guys where they needed to be.

It essentially proves what we all thought...OL is crap and BMac makes freshman mistakes.

I'm not on the fire mUSChamp/Roper wagon. I truly believe they'll get us there but it's time for smElliot to hit the road.

Didn't know if anybody else saw that video.. great analysis. Alan Knott, Helms & Zandi all are liabilities on the Oline. They get beat/don't execute their assignments almost of every play

And that is crap coaching...the mistakes they are making can be corrected, but they're not.

Why did we keep Elliott anyway? Was Tanner pressured to have Boom keep him on staff?

I personally wanted him gone, especially when he admitted that they all became lazy with recruiting (which he didn't have to say it, we all knew). Some people defended him by saying that's a reflection on SOS, but that doesn't mean you have to follow the leader.

OUCH! its looks worse when the film is broken down. I haven't broken down film in awhile but still. I know I said something in another thread about no seam routes or drags being run but I was wrong they are not just being thrown to. Bmac showing a lot more rookie mistakes than I originally picked up on, possibly due to the fact that we are just not very good at blocking anything let alone anyone.

the open receiver a lot of times is right over the middle about 5 yards past the line of scrimmage. What I can't figure out is, it's he not being looked at because mcilwain is a true freshman not going through his progression or is it mcilwain is a 6ft Qb and legit can't see that guy.

I would say more of the former but in addition, a lot of times McIlwain wants to or has to use his legs and throwing back across the middle is a big no no.
