LSU is set to become the top program in America

It's going to happen
LSU is going to hit a homerun on the hire, and Saban's days are numbered.
Orgeron and Ensminger and Aranda are going to steer the ship well for a few months until the big day. While A&M piddles around with a drunk, and Auburn piddles around with Guson Clowny, LSU on the other hand is not sitting on their hands. They've made the boldest move very possibly in college football history. And they will strike oil from it.
As a Razorback fan, I'm just going to say I'm blessed to have lived in the days of what is about to happen - the Mike Gundy LSU Dynasty. There's no reason to hate over it. Maybe we will eke out a win here and there, but college football's dynasty program will stay in the SEC West

I think that is where they are and can make it pay off. If they get the jump on the search maybe they strike gold and they have ND to fight against. I believe Herman could be good, but it is not like getting Saban who had already won a NC and was a real proven coach in a power 5 league.

I am going to get down voted, but I am no longer fighting the SEC forced rivalry between us. If that is Tuscaloosa's will err Birmingham's will then I accept it. We could have no finer rival.
