LSU is a top 10 job in the country. Clemson is probably top 15 or top 20. I love when posters start spouting off about LSU being a step down.

it is a step down based the current state of the two programs. in my opinion Clemson is easier place to recruit top talent to, because it is like a resort, plus closer to the northeast.
