Geez man. The fact is there are very few coaches that would do better than Miles and have you (or anyone) consistently in contention. You have to make a homerun hire. Odds are good that you end up downgrading

Especially when you consider that they already beat the odds following up Saban with Les. The odds of them doing it again is almost impossible. Most LSU fans on here are too young to know that college football runs in cycles and the past 15 years have been a better than average cycle for LSU.
It will sink in when someone else gets Herman and LSU hires the kind of guy with a record like Les had before they hired him.
