With everyone jumping off after yesterday. I'm still on this bitch, though. 2017 will be better and 2018 could be a special year.

I actually agree. Our fan base needs to be a little more focused on the long game, though. Unreal expectations are our specialty. Nobody does that better.

He needs his kids. Little talent and no depth on this roster. Especially where it counts.

Precisely. Given that widespread sentiment was that 9-3/8-4 was all but a certainty, yesterday was one of those Ls written in stone, it would seem.
Granted, I don't know that anyone expected us to get into that big of a hole, but it was a first for a Kirby-led team. How they respond next week will tell us more than how/why they lost the way they did yesterday.

Little talent
I dont remember us taking any 2 stars...and almost every player on our rosters was recruited by other Big 6 members.
Chubb and Michel running, with three 4 star TE's. Terry Godwin was a 5 star.
Trent Thompson was a 5 star, Juwan Briscoe a great pull from MAryland. Davin Bellamy, Patrick, Roquan, Lorenzo all 4 or five stars. Dom Sanders was All-SEC.
This excuse making for Smart by saying this team has no talent is fricking horseshite.

You just named literally every good player on the roster. 7 players dont win championships

I named 13 and could name more.
Not every player is going to be a 5 star unless youre Alabama. Thats where great coaches come in. I could win 10 games with Bama's rosters. Kirby needs to do his part.

Tell me about our depth please good sir. Or our receivers or our o-line

depth is an issue. which is why i didnt mention that in my op.
Talent is not an issue though.

The top quartile in the SEC is light years ahead of the rest, including us. We will have to win all the close ones this year to get to 9-3. We aint there yet. Chill.

I'm still here because I'm not a tard who overreacts 4 games into a new coach's tenure.

Move over, I'm not giving up yet. This was one of the 3 games I had us losing before the season started.
Kirby's first loss- people crying. Give me a break.

We will agree to disagree, then. Lots f talent. Just not the type he likes. We are short on depth, though.

I figured before the season that it would be a loss. Same for Tennessee and possibly Florida. It is looking like we will have our hands full with Auburn, too, though. That was one I was not expecting. I was saying 9-3, knowing that North Carolina would be a tough one, too.

I'm not sure why we expect KS to be an amazing head coach within 3 games. Give it time.
If he sucks in 2 years, he will be gone. If he turns out to have some Saban in him, we will all be happy happy.
No need to overreact either way at this point.

8-4/9-3 in year 1 is better than 8-4/9-3 every year

Holyfield, Ridley, Rochester.
Just to get you started again!

In all seriousness, we have talent. But I was hoping to get into the spirit of the thread and everyone would give Kirby a c little more time than 4 games. It's reasonable.

Yeah they act like all these guys are Kirby's players. Remember, this is still M Richt's team. I'm sure Kirby knows how to build a team (seeing it 1st hand at BAMA), so I'm giving him 3 or more years to get it how he wants it. I'm sure he will.
Also everyone probably would of predicted us to have like 3-4 losses this year and we are on schedule for that. Yeah the losses were bad, but I think it is obvious that the talent is lacking on the OL/DL and WR/2ndary. Plus Ole Miss called/played about a perfect game as they could have.

Briscoe and Zo are busts.
Certainly not Richts fault as many on here are saying. His point is....we have a LOT of talent. To paint it any other way is dishonest.
