The SEC really needs to go to a nine game conference schedule. Obviously you can't rid of permanent cross-conference opponents due to the Auburn/UGA and Bama/Tennessee rivalries but playing nearly half of your SEC rivals (six of 13) once every six years and once every 12 years at home is absolutely ridiculous. Bama hasn't played South Carolina since 2010 and they won't play them again until 2018 at the earliest. It seems like they aren't even in the same football conference because they never play each other.

Why not?

If unbalanced schedules are necessary, then Auburn, Georgia, Bama and Tennessee should be disadvantaged by it, not Florida and LSU.

If Garcia's still there, we need to call B'ham and have them bump USCe back to at least 2022.
