What mark do you think JJ will cut Gus?

I think if we get another 6-6 year where we get to the BHam bowl again, Jay should pull the plug. We have the ability to win this weekend, but if we get blown out then there is no question Gus is getting the boot to the curb by the end of this season.

I predict pandolerium after the game tomorrow. I doubt we score more than 6pts on offense. If we don't make a bowl he gone.

I don't think the decision is solely JJ's. I think if JJ himself is convinced Gus needs to go, then he will have the power to fire him. I think if AU shits the bed (2012) and JJ (for some reason) doesn't want to fire him, then some old rich booster will make sure it happens, whether JJ wants it or not.

But, of course, it just depends on how deep of pockets said booster(s) have. Are they willing to spend the $13 mil? That might be too much for one or two boosters. I think AU could afford it with the help of a lot of boosters, but the question is who all will be on board?

It's times like this that makes me really miss Bob Louder.

Just depends who is available. You don't fire him without knowing who the replacement is.

Might not have that kind of time to burn. If we wait on a new prez, Gus will still be HC for all of 2016 and all of 2017. Can AU afford two seasons of shite recruiting classes, transfers and a losing record?

Neither will be fired mid-season and if either run the table after the loss they would be safe.

Because any of those things are common to Auburn with Gus?

It's okay chicken little, the sky isn't falling.

If we go 6-6, Gus is safe. He will fire Rhett L and buy another year.

No way he gets another year at 6-6. He just can't develop players and its time to cut our losses and go get someone who can.
