Op mentioned OU 77-0 killing all remnants of the RC tenure.

However, the team did recover and eventually buy into Franchione in 2004, only to get curb stomped by Tennessee in the Cotton Bowl. We are still trying to climb out of that hole.

We lost that game coming out of the tunnel mentally.

That was the most chickshit nine win team we ever had, and Tenn proved that when we played them.

What you are repeating is our justifications from the time because we didn't want to accept it, but 0-77 killed our program for a while. We didn't beat OU for a recruit until a decade later.
