I think this team has a lot of potential once the offense gels and the running game gets more established.

That said, I wish our offense will get off to a little faster start instead of completely going with this strategy of setting things up for the second half. We have a bad habit of not scoring TDs until well into the 2nd Quarter, which allows teams to hang around. I'm not saying we have to come out guns blazing but I think we have to do better scoring TD's earlier.

I think getting over the Ole Miss hump is going to be huge for this season. The next two weeks we will get the little things fixed like excessive penalties in a game which he gave up a few more last year at this point plus we gave up more sacks last year. How well this team progresses will be determined in October.

I also think we are ahead of last years team at least stat wise.

2015 through 3 games:
864 passing 6 TDs but 5Ints
673 Rushing 9 TDs
109 total points(all on the offense)
70 points allowed

D Henry 54 rushing attempts for 370 yds 7TDs 6.9yds per carry

2016 through 3 games:
732 yds 5 TDs but 1Int
700 yds 8TDS (we also have 86 negative yds or it would be higher than 700)(running QB and jet sweeps can have that effect)
138 total points(35 on returns and D)
59 points allowed

D Harris 36 rushing attempts for 327yds 1TDs(Bo was used for RZ TDs so the reason Henry had so many more in 3 games but Harris is getting better yardage on a lot fewer carries at 9 yds per carry.

Overall I like where we are at compared to last year especially with the way our D is playing. Our O should get better and are not far off from where we were last year production wise at this point but our D is ahead of where we were 3 games in last year.
