Morale is as low as I've ever seen it

Among the UK football Fanbase. The Cats have been trash since Rich Brooks left. We have spent $200 million dollars in stadium and practice facility upgrades and recruited better than we ever have. Yet here we are in year 4 of Mark Stoops and we can't even beat Southern F'ing Miss! We sell out our stadium routinely to watch terrible football. I guarantee no other division 1 football program has received more support and achieved less over the last 30 years! Hell, usually the team gives us 4 or 5 games at the beginning of the season to get our hopes up before they let us down. This year we got 2 quarters!

Been a football season ticket holder since 2003 and live 4 hours from Commonwealth. Is that considered basketball only? I've driven a lot of miles to watch a lot of bad football.

Then you'd know morale isn't anywhere near as low when CM Newton wasn't investing in shite that wasn't a roundball and we were pulling 2 and 1 win seasons.

We weren't trying when Bill Curry was going 1-10 and getting beat 73-7 by Florida. The University wasn't making near the commitment then. We are now. It's mind blowing that our recruiting classes the last 4 years have averaged in the mid 20's, while Southern Miss have averaged in the mid 70's, yet they ran it down our throat. There is a serious problem with either player development or coaching, maybe both. You seem knowledgable Belle, I'm surprised you don't agree.

Gotta give it time, man. They have great uniforms and a very cool atmosphere when coupled with basketball. All you need is time and Kentucky will be a much better team.

I'm not sure we'll have a spot for Mark Stoops on our staff after the season. Guess you guys will have to keep him another year or two.

I would like to see Kentucky develop a good football program. If your administration has invested in the program and will follow through, then I bet it will happen sooner or later.

when louisville started gaining traction as a solid football program, uk didn't do what they needed to do to squash it.
