Would never leave Stanford on his own. He's a Stanford grad and ex-player and obsessed with Stanford. His dad also coached for Stanford and he grew up a Stanford fan.

Obviously top two. Hopefully we'd make them say no to several contract offers before moving on.

If Jimbo came, he’d retire at LSU.

Herman would leave us for OSU or UT if they ever came a callin’. That is my only negative with him. Other than that, he’s a fricking homerun superstar head coach. Next Urban Meyer.

LSU fans really know how to dig their own graves. Motivation every week will be, "Can we be the team to can Miles." That's some thin ice y'all are skating on.

LSU's weekly motivation should be, "can we be the team to beat Miles"? 'Cause he ain't helping.

All of the sudden Joe Alleva is a top notch AD who will make a home run hire. This is great

I have an uneasy feeling that this coaching search (to the extent there is one) is going to go the same way this season has. LSU fans will have extremely high expectations only to be let down.

If you asked me who I think we end up with I think it's Fedora.

I think you still have a conversation. I know he's Stanford through and through, but if he aspires beyond that relative to his profession, it would be worth an inquiry.

Miles buyout is 6 Million and the Tiger Athletic Foundation had in place 30 million dollars last year for Miles Buyout and the offer for a new coach.

So with that said ... you be the judge of what LSU can do if they want to.

Are you saying they did NOT want to win last year, so they kept all that money and Miles?

Who is on the short list when LSU decides to fire Miles?

He will be fired in next 30 days so we will have long time to worry about that. Of Course, Coach O will probably do great and beat Bama or something to screw it all up.

It depends on what "Third and Long Charlie" does this season. As much as LSU has in tradition and money, Texas dwarfs it.
