You are the second best program in the SEC.... over pretty much any time span you want to check during the last decade. I'm sure it sucks to be #2 when you've been so close so many times. But unless you plan on hiring Saban back, I'm not sure you are going to get much better than what you've already been.
People can make the comparison to Mark Richt all day long... but its not the same. There was far more room for improvement with Richt as there is with Les.
