If they don't throw huge money at Gary Patterson then they will again be stuck in this cycle. He will be a long term hire, but will take a couple of years to build his program.

Land fired Chavis from UT to replace him with his daddy.
Chavis wasn't too pleased with being let go from his alma mater. There's bad blood there.
