I have never seen any Vol fan as obsessed with the Gators as WhiskeyPapa. He keeps trotting out the same tired statistics in every thread or post he creates. It's like he's trying to expose some unknown, unsavory truth about the Gators to anyone who will listen. "Boy, wait until everyone sees this! Then they'll know the truth about how inferior the Gators are to the Mighty Vols!"
Just stop. It's truly pathetic. Nobody cares about what happened in 1979. Tennessee has taken a back seat to Florida for a long, long, long time now. Know your place. Try to be more like BigVolDaddy.

I can't wait for UF to beat UT again.

No one cares when you graduated from UT.

Walt UT '81... I'd like to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you were drunk, but it looks like this shite's been going on for three days. But on the off-chance you're sober, take the time to clean your still. Brain damage has set in.

Based on the Gators' performance against UMass, where they didn't start to control the game until they started repeated late hits on the UMass QB Comis, I will take a chance on the Vols' chances on 9/24.
This is the conclusions drawn when you only watch a single play or highlight from a game. The late hit was a questionable call, and the reason Florida pulled away at the end was because the offense actually finished drives instead of either settling for field goals, running out of time at the end of the have and kicking a field goal, going for it on fourth down after you have already gotten points on the board, etc.
That was a weird game and upon a deeper evaluation you see that it was a game that Florida dominated the way they should. But I know the kind of poster you are, so all of this will go over your old, senile, hillbilly head and you'll reply with some random arse incompetent reply that will further proof that you're a fricking moron.

This guy is one of the dumbest people on earth. He's basically trolling himself with his constant Florida obsession.

Hey guys, let's not make fun of Walt. Walt is great; he graduated from UT in '81, and seems to like whiskey a lot. I just don't think he knows Tenn is

We have more than 100 more wins than UF. We are 8th in all time victories.
It took UF 53 years to win a conference crown, and it was vacated for cheating.
"UNDEFEATED NATIONAL CHAMPIONS!" -- Said no Gator fan ever.
UF has NEVER had an undefeated season.
But UF has had a season as recently as 1979 where it won no games at all.
UT has not failed to win at least 4 games a season since 1924, while programs like UF, UA and AU all had seasons with no wins at all.
Now, that is certainly a left-handed compliment for the Volunteers but the factors that caused a 10 year decline in UT fortunes have abated.

Since you mentioned the 70s: UT is 5th in winning pct and 6th in SEC titles since 1970. I'm not inclined to look it up right now, but UF is better than that.
UT isn't in the top 10 programs in the last 5 years, 10 years, 15 years, 20, 30, 40, or 50 years. They were hell, though, back in the 1920s and 30s.

I mean really, a fricking garden statue. I'd trade a trillion of those for one fricking win in the series. With the losing streak we're on, we have to find other ways to troll UF, and stuff like this just looks pathetic and embarrassing to say the least.

Right...basically when you were a kid, Florida was a TAMU-Ole Miss level program- occasionally good, a Heisman level player maybe once a generation, etc. But since then Florida's become a Top 5-10 level program. Hell, prior to 1980 no team from Florida had ever played for a national title or won a major conference title, since then the Big 3 have played for roughly half of all national titles. Winning 11, and have won 32 Major conference championships.
