It fell from the QBs hands into the end zone. It was after the point where there was 2 minutes left in the 4th QTR. Th QB did not recover it, so it should have been dead ball at point of the fumble.

If the fumble was not caused by a defensive hit I agree with you...dead ball at that point in the game.
