I think GA will be a tougher game for UT than UF this year. We play at GA and they have a chip for UT after they stumbled last year. It's the opposite for UF,,,they come to our house with a newbie at QB and he will have a difficult time in front of 1000 million UT fans. I really don't think the UT vs UF game will be close. But GA poses a different dynamic. If Eason gets comfortable it will be a tight game.

I think the problem for UF this year is that they come into our house entitled and thinking it's their birthright to win. Jalen ("Teez" or whatever else he's calling himself now) Tabor has expressed that attitude all offseason. They will be pumped to beat us but they don't respect us as an opponent or a program and respect for what your opponent can do is a necessary part of good preparation. When you think you can't lose you don't prepare for a lot of things, you don't work as hard in practice, the weight room, or film study and you get lazy. You could do that in years past and beat us because the talent and coaching differentials were simply too much to overcome but you can't be lazy when preparing for this team. They are too talented and too hungry. And yes, they are even well-coached despite popular tRant opinion.

UGA is different. They had a lot of success against us when we were down but they never developed the entitlement attitude that UF did. They will prepare hard for us, arrive ready for a knife fight and maybe some lowdown and dirty play on both sides, and generally give us everything they've got from kickoff to the final whistle.

They got that wake up call at the end of last season...don't worry about where our guys heads are at, they'll be ready to play.

How could you possibly know that? You realize what people say on message boards has absolutely ZERO reflection on what the coaches and players are thinking?

You might have a point if Tennessee wasn't receiving any praise or preseason accolades.

I don't think Florida took Tennessee lightly last year at all and I certainly don't think thats the case this time around either.

The thing that people don't mention about UF this year is that they are being completely overlooked. When is the last time a Division champ who won 10 games is being considered an afterthought with the talent UF has? And yes, some people have picked UF to repeat in the East.

But when the talk is about Tennessee, and justifiably so considering they have the most returning starters in the East with the most talent (on paper), I don't think UF will be "lazy" in preparation for this game.

They have circled September 24th, just like Tennessee has. Both sides know its a critical game that could affect the rest of the season.

Why would they not think that? A 20 yr old playing at UF has only experienced the Vo12s winning 4 times in his life. Hell, I'm 60 and UT has only won 8 times in my lifetime. I expect to beat UT and the team does too, just like I expect to beat Vandy and Kentucky. Now stuff does happen and they will pick up a win occasionally but UF owns these 3 teams.
