As we learned from the SI article with Miller it doesn't matter what they say it is what they can prove. Miller made tones of accusations the NCAA didn't put in the NOA because it wasn't proven. They can claim anything they want but unless they have proof of the money changing hands it won't matter. Also if they are claiming large sums of unclaimed income like others are hoping for then they will have bigger issues then the NCAA to deal with.

Also this article states that these interviews happened this summer but all the people that claimed recruits it's were interviewed in Feb and March as part of this investigation want to use this as proof they were right. It doesn't. This is just stuff post draft night.

I am by no means a Finebaum fan, I detest him, primarily for being a bama/saban pimp but too, for being a general shite stirrer to crank up his ratings. But he had a former college coach on while at the SEC league meetings last spring & this former coach, self proclaimed to still be in the loop of conference goings on, said that what he was hearing in talking around the league is that the Mississippi media as a whole was completely backing the Black Bears, to the detriment of their fans. His point being their fans are being sold a bill of goods by the local media & are buying their message. To the extent they will be blindsided when the shite does come down.. One coach's opinion on Finebaum's show so do consider the source/s. That this guy is a Black Bears' beat writer seems to follow what this coach was saying. He's spreading the company line.

OM made offers of cash to recruits in an effort to get them to visit your campus/facilities/program.

A few of those recruits reported that fact before NSD and before they chose to sign elsewhere to play ball.

The NCAA knows this and they are just following up with those guys at AU/MSU, probably Michigan and aTm just to investigate the allegations to the fullest extent.

I'm doubtful that the NCAA is offering immunity for information. Maybe that's the only way the NCAA feels like they can get an honest, truthful response that isn't guarded and vague from those players?
