Agreed.
Nebraska has plenty to sell. Good school, great facilities, blue blood, huge rabid fanbase etc., The only thing holding Nebraska back is Nebraska. They need a splashy hire for a big time coach instead of all these discount coaches and their program will turn on a dime just like Michigan is now.

Nebraska and Penn State's best days are behind them.
Pennsylvania's NOT CLOSE to the state that it once was in producing HS talent and Nebraska's "walk on" program has been hurt by the growth the start ups of new DI programs throughout the country and the fact they're no longer light years ahead of other programs when it come to S&C and "sports science" ie juicing your nuts off.
