re: Alabama grants release to DB Marcus Smith, pending SEC waiver ruling

Somebody said it yesterday but this whole situation is ridiculous. If he was so attached to Kirby why didn't he apply for a transfer in January? Why did he wait all the way until a month ago to do so. Something fishy is going on. If that was his sincere reason he should have left a while ago.
