Lame reason of an answer. If you are on the field at less than 100% and give less than 100%,effort, your arse should have been benched until you could prove otherwise.

I don't blame him...but im not a scholarshiped SEC college football player

People complain about coach speak etc and then when someone is honest he gets criticized . Player was coming back from an injury, and was honest about it, most on this board never played one down of Div 1 ball.

I prefer this scenario better.

Most on this board are also not 6'3 230 of solid muscle

I mean, if you think about it, no one outside of A&M knew who he was before that play. It certainly didn't hurt his name recognition.
I didn't know his name until this thread.
He should sell digital picture frames showing the gif of that tackle, and autograph them, kinda like the Michigan player that got knocked out of his shoes by that DT from South Carolina.

That was actually kind of funny. You can tell he's received so much shite for that play
Are you kidding? I can promise you the coaches played and played and replayed that play on the screen during film time. They were probably not laughing when they played it, but I can assure you his teammates were.

When I saw the subject line I was sure you were talking about Howard Matthews.
I liked Howard, but damn!

I've actually heard that speculated before. He hurt his shoulder two weeks before against Louisville and missed the game inbetween. He went high and tried to avoid his shoulder and Fournette is a hoss so he tossed him. Makes sense

Never really understood why it was considered such a big feat when Mathews was basically standing still.
Of course u wouldn't. Who stands still while playing football??

I don't see what the big deal is. It was an excellent decision.
You don't stand in front of Fournette in the open field.
The entire Alabama defense had no problems whatsoever defending Fournette, though I'll admit, there was never an open field for him anyway save that one 18 yard run in the 4th quarter. 31 yards on 19 carries.
Like so

My biggest concern since he transferred. Staying healthy. He has been injured since the day he stepped on campus.
Very seriously doubt he starts this year

Well gee frickin wizz, I guess Fournette is worthless.
Let's go over that again. In your words:

That's because the entire Alabama defense made it a point to stop Fournette. It was a miracle every time he made it to the line of scrimmage.

At least Trey acted like he was trying to tackle, Rudy ford slowed down and ran away, that game was embarassing
