So if I were to go up to your mother/sister/wife/girlfriend and grab her wrist and start pulling her because I didn't approve of where she was or what she was doing, that'd be OK

Unless someone is robbing your or threatening harm to you or carrying out an act of physical violence against you, you don't have any right to put your hands on them in any manner.
"I wanted her to leave."
You know what that implies? That she was invited into the room in the first place.
If a now-unwanted guest doesn't want to leave and refuses to leave, again, guess what? You have no right to PHYSICAL VIOLENCE to remove them (except, as I listed above, if they are robbing you, threatening harm to you, or carrying out an act of violence against you).
As far as I have read, none of the exceptions that I listed above existed at the time.
So, yeah, it is kind of apples to apples.

Soooooo....you're one of those people that thinks chicks leave a bar with a guy she doesn't know so they can "talk"?
What part of "no one can truly know" did you not understand? I was pointing out that if something criminal happened the Tallahassee PD wouldn't have been able to uncover it with their investigation
I simply am saying that Jameis Winston seems like a douche from how he carried himself. Being a douche doesn't make you innocent/guilty though

You can always call the police for trespassing or alternatively hire security bouncers to do the physical violence for you #SkyBar

What you said is key about trespassing... you can call the police.
What you CAN'T do is commit physical violence against them because you asked them to leave and they refused.

I've never understood the people who immediately try to go 0-60 and get in a fight.
If you are right, you can call the police to win your fight for you. As someone with a job, I got better things to do than be getting in brawls

You must be in college still obsessed with being viewed as an alpha male. If you have a real job and even think about fighting you are pretty trashy. No sane professional would risk their career over a lunatic yelling at you. Assault & battery isn't an easy thing to explain to your boss and future job interviews

So you would get physically violent with a man or a woman for saying loud words to you.
Classy.
Here's what I do know: in my younger prime, I was a single father and getting arrested and thrown in jail would have sent my son back to his mother which would have been a terrible environment for him to grow up in.
So, here's a little advice for you, there's this thing called MATURITY that some of us have went through which helps us to determine not to do the REALLY stupid things. The pay-off was my Auburn grad son who is now a 1st LT in the Army Reserves and has a damn solid job having graduated in 2014.
So, yeah, some of us are smart and mature enough not to get violent for no good reason because we have appropriate higher brain function and values.

About three years ago, there i was sitting in the cheap seats in JH when is saw a young boy spill his drink on the man in front of him. This man, who appeared to be in his 40s, was drunk and did not like having a soft drink spill on him. He angrily yelled at the boy and then laid into the father for not watching his son. The father apologized for his son's actions, yet the drunkard continued his barrage of insults. Finally the drunk man got in the face of the father...the father then grabbed the man by the throat and slammed him down on the steps, pinned him to the ground and threatened to beat him if he did not stop antagonizing the boy and himself.
The drunk man, clearly embarrassed for getting slammed, apologized and pretended to be best friends with the father. About two minutes later, the cops show up to investigate what had happened....The cops escorted the drunk man away and the father remained, unpunished for his actions.
Now tell me, should that man have not acted and taken the abuse? Should he have worried about his job or being charged with assault and battery? No. He reacted to someone physically invading his space in a threatening manner.
According to your beliefs, that man had NO RIGHT to lay his hands on him.
And another thing GC. frick you.

As to what Jovon did, he did not strike the girl. He grabbed her by the wrist and escorted her out of his room. No police report was filed. And if you cannot admit that in this day and age, girls look at high profile athletes as targets then i dont know what to tell you. This wasnt rape, where the girl is given the benefit of the doubt. This was, "he grabbed my wrist".

Also, your angry attempts to insult me are classless. Show some of that maturity you claim to have and drop this ridiculous discussion.
