Would Miles' firing be the worst CFB coach firing ever?

I can't think of any worse firing that's ever occurred.
Somebody may mention Fulmer at Tennessee but I'm about the only non-UT fan who believes that firing was justified. He was awful his last 4 years (2005-08) with a record of 29-21 and 2 losing seasons. The 4 loss seasons in 06 and 07 were only attained because David Cutcliffe briefly rejoined the staff. Then Cutcliffe left again and the Vols had another losing season in 2008.
Even in the off chance LSU can land Jimbo I'm not positive he'd be an upgrade. Without a Jameis Winston-like QB I'm not sure Jimbo can be much better than a Big Six Bowl type coach. Plus Jimbo's in the ACC and who knows how he'd do in the SEC West Division. Yes this is sort of my Gator bias showing through with my POV about Fisher being a bit overrated.

You'd be an idiot if you think it is.

I don't understand the people that want him fired. He's the most successful coach LSU has ever had and our down years are when we only win 9 games instead of the usual 10 or 11 he produces on a consistent basis.

No, Ron Zook was the worse firing ever.

It would easily be one of the worst ever decisions I've seen in my lifetime.

If you would actually watch LSU games week in and week out you would understand.

8 months ago that fanbase worked itself into a lynch mob frenzy, spelled out a litany of his deficiencies and nearly got him fired. They would've filled this thread with their legitimate criticisms. The firing didn't happen, nothing really changes in the offseason and now look at the prediction thread, the majority predict him to go 11-1 or 12-0 and contend
What an insane group of people. Like they remember nothing and intentionally set themselves up. I'm just gonna sit back and watch

Just look at today's big threads. All the Bama cockroaches came out of the woodwork to defend their demigod for treating a 20 year old kid like trash (no pun intended)

They'll prob grab up Belichick or Urban when he get's canned.

Frank Solich being fired at Nebraska fir going 9-2 was pretty bad, but they've been elite since then, so...

Other than those 2 who would be an upgrade for LSU?
It's already been shown that Saban wouldn't be an upgrade for them. Since his win percentage at LSU was lower than Miles' currently is.

No, TN wishes they could have that decade back after firing Fulmer. I doubt LSU would suffer much like that at all. I could be wrong but highly doubtful.

Yes but Saban inherited a decent program when he took over. Miles inherited a great program when he took over.

LSU's program would be set back 20 years if they fired Miles.

What FSU did to Bowden was pretty shitty, but it worked out. Your school had a great coach leave in scandal, and got an even greater one a couple years later.
LSU is a desirable job. Some places do get lucky. But the odds would be against it, a Solich/Fulmer situation is more likely
