Its a solid claim. Its just so long ago and OU didn't even think the Sugar bowl was important. OU was already claimed champs so they look at the Sugar as no more than exhibition.

UK snapped OU's 31 game winning streak. I'd say they probably thought maintaining that streak was a little important.
