Lots of talent returning in the trenches
I just don't buy this. LSU got absolutely bullied in the trenches the entire month of November last year. They're obviously SEC caliber players- see September and October- but collectively it's hard for me to buy that they're really that talented based on how things played out at the end of last season. I mean, the consensus on this website prior to the Alabama game was that LSU had the best offensive line in the country, and then they got manhandled 3 times. I'm sure they've gotten better, but I won't assume everyone else in the league sat idly by while LSU improved

You don't have to buy it. They absolutely return a lot of talent in the trenches, though. If anything, inability to adapt is what cost LSU in November. Once it was established that Harris wasn't going to do much (remember, he was injured vs bama-sports hernia) then it was over.

We got better, but more importantly we got much deeper on the defensive side. OL has a ton of talent, but its the most "unknown" on our team IMO. I think a lot of getting pushed around at the end of year was Bama having the GOAT front 7 group 2 deep and our spirits just being fricking broken after that game.
Also, Brandon Harris' ineffectiveness in November did not keep any defense honest. They didn't have to "stack the box", but they knew they could play downhill towards the line every single play to stop the run.
And the new scheme on defense will be much different.

Fullback was much more responsible for LSU's success last year than he was given credit for honestly. Once he went down, LSU's offense wasn't anywhere close to the same.

Let's see now.
ole miss was in november. Tigers outrushed and Harris even had more passing yards than the rebs. Don't think the tigers were bullied in the trenches in that game.
Pretty sure thanksgiving is in november. Beat the aggies. Held them to seven points. Sounds like our "D" held up pretty well.
That's half of november right there. I will give you bama and arky. Those weren't pretty.
As for what happens in '16.
LSU's front seven on "D" returns more than bama's Oline, TE and RBs.
As for the tiger "O". If bama has to account for Harris, either by his arm and or his feet that will only open up the running lanes for its RBs.
