If Chris Davis, the man responsible for the Kick Six, had not got his lunch eaten by Kelvin Benjamin, then Auburn would've won the national championship.

I find it ironic how the same guy responsible for Auburn getting in the title lost it for them on pretty much the last play of the game.

Davis should've never been put in that situation in the first place though. There were multiple blown chances to put that game away before that play.

If any one player deserves any kind of blame it's probably Cody Parkey. If our kicker that went on to make he Pro Bowl as a rookie in the NFL had simply not been hung over I think that would've made the difference. He spent his whole career before that game booting kickoffs through the endzone, but in that game when he was hung over I don't think one kickoff even went into the endzone and FSU returned one for a TD and that was probably the single biggest momentum shift in FSU's favor the whole game.

There may not be a corner in the game that could have stopped that play. Bengiman was 6" taller than any corner in the league, he leaped and caught a perfectly thrown slant.

Nothing Davis could have done. We stopped them 4 times inside the 15 before they got the PI call on 4th down that pretty much gave them the game. Im not really arguing the PI call that gave them fist and goal on the 2 but it could have been called either way. I was surprised they called it in that situation.

No way I blame Davis for that last play. It was perfectly executed.
