It was 1989. Texas A&M was up 14-3 when I went to bed. They apparently won 28-16. Slocum's first year at College Station. Several LSU players that made the NFL. ESPN video quality was actually really good then.

I figured there'd be more action itt following along with the games. Tmrw doesn't look to get any better...I'm guessing on LSU's day we'll start getting some good discussion.

The series had resumed earlier in the 80's A&M hadn;'t beaten LSU in a pretty long time


LSU was ranked like #7 and just got ambushed. Never recovered from the opening kickoff return for a TD. Season was the beginning of the dark days for LSU football. Archer was gone after 89 then ugh Hallman put us deeper in a hole
