I'd expect Vitello (Arkansas pitching coach) to be the new coach, but Bieser from SEMO and Hendrickson from SLU could also get a look.

You don't want Vitello. What you want is a coach from some other team in the SEC. We will be good sports and keep Vitello on the staff so you won't have to worry about him.

Isn't Vitello our hitting coach? lol

When Vitello was at Mizzou for 8 years, he was their pitching coach.

Yall should have fired your basketball coach too just to finish the hat trick.

I'm willing to give up one of our ball boys to Mizzou. I'm not that greedy.

I, for one, am excited about this.
I give credit for Jamieson landing Scherzer and Crow, but outside of the years he had them, Mizzou hasn't done shite in baseball. And this is a sport in which Mizzou has actually won a national championship in. It's about time for a change and bring back some respect (and fans) to the ballpark.

I assume this means our AD is mildly observant. Will wait for further events to confirm.

Bieser would be an amazing hire. Tremendous coach, and recruiter. He is able to find the diamonds in the rough, and knows the game. Something about former catchers I like as managers.
Word around Cape is he is in Columbia as we speak. My mom, also teaches with his wife, and she has heard they may be filling her spot. Which probably means he isn't getting the job! Haha.
