quote:

The theoretical physicist Michio Kaku claims to have developed a theory that might point to the existence of God.

The information has created a great stir in the scientific community because Kaku is considered one of the most important scientists of our times, one of the creators and developers of the revolutionary String Theory which is highly respected throughout the world.

To to come to his conclusions, the physicist made ??use of what he calls “primitive semi – radius tachyons “.

Tachyons are theoretical particles capable to “unstick ” the Universe matter or vacuum space between matter particles, leaving everything free from the influences of the surrounding universe.

After conducting the tests, Kaku came to the conclusion that we live in a “Matrix”.

“I have concluded that we are in a world made by rules created by an intelligence”, he affirmed. “Believe me, everything that we call chance today won’t make sense anymore.” “To me it is clear that we exists in a plan which is governed by rules that were created, shaped by a universal intelligence and not by chance.”

Reminds me of the quote that closest identifies my thoughts on the subject.

quote:

The human mind is not capable of grasping the Universe. We are like a little child entering a huge library. The walls are covered to the ceilings with books in many different tongues. The child knows that someone must have written these books. It does not know who or how. It does not understand the languages in which they are written. But the child notes a definite plan in the arrangement of the books—-a mysterious order which it does not comprehend, but only dimly suspects

"God" shouldn't be capitalized in this sense.

It seems he found what he has concluded is proof of "intelligent design" which I think a lot of people who are not religious believe in based on our own observations - i am one of them.

Pretty interesting, but I wouldnt call a theory definitive proof.
Ive never understood how people can assume that there isnt some sort of grand architect of the universe when you consider something cant be made from nothing.

Ah so you do believe something can be before nothing.

It's better to believe in God without proof than to find proof and then believe. If God wanted you to know he exists, he would make sure you know. He doesn't want you to know; He wants you to believe. I know that's illogical to us, but it is not to Him.

But isn't it better to find proof and believe than to not believe at all?

well god made me who i am in that scenario and he made me question such things without proof. So he can suck it if he doesn't like the way he made me.

I also am pretty sure he understands my sentiments and just gave me a spiritual fist bump.

Oh, brother.

Somebody at AGEAC is taking Michio Kaku literally. He's saying that String Theory and it's extra dimensions amount to being god (little g).

Kaku is a popular spokesman for physics in the lay community. He, Brian Greene, Brian Cox, Neil DeGrasse Tyson, Morgan Freeman and several other prominent people routinely use "lay speak" to engage the "common man" in science.

Some, like Kaku, use god (little g) shamelessly to get better ratings. Morgan Freeman does, too.

They're using god (little g) to get your attention, not God (big G).

Sneaky - You and I believe the same thing.

Gumpinlex - you're correct, it shouldn't be called definitive proof.

BlackPawnMartr - you wrongly said "
Ah so you do believe something can be before nothing".

That's not what he said. He said "something cant be made from nothing." And he's right. Which is why this falls in line with what he believes.

Airfernando - this is the evidence of a designer, not of the relationship having God of southern baptist vacation bible schools.

Gnash - good point. I mean the Christian God gave people proof, like Thomas. So like I've been saying, "come on Christian God, if you want a relationship with me give me some proof. I don't want to burn in hell, but I can't really believe in you otherwise. Assuming I need to in order to not go to hell."

Sneaky -

From the quote you posted, that doesn't necessarily imply a God. Elon Musk and many theoretical physicists have proposed we are in a simulation. From there the conversation becomes 'Is the designer of the simulation a God?" which is an entirely different debate.

It's my opinion the designer isn't "a god", at least not a relationship having God. If you didn't know my stance on the matter.

Agreed, I'm thinking more along the lines of this Ted Talk. It had an awful click bait title, ignore it.

I've watched a couple TED talks about simulations. I don't think we're in one but it's fun to think about. I'll watch that one when I get home. I'll hit you up after.

I think he could be a relationship having god, i will say that I believe it is even though i'm not religious.

Then again he could be an a-hole or some dude that isn't even watching anymore.

If he is a relationship having God, he is a long-distance relationship God.
