I think he is implying he was bought?
Naw. He'll make 6 QBs on the roster. He probably meant that he probably wouldn't play much at Alabama, whereas, he'd probably start at Kentucky.

He also probably didn't help his case when he was spouting off that he was "100% committed" to the Cats a month ago and then broke out that he was "100% committed" to the Tide when he committed yesterday.

This is what flummoxes me, and not just with this situation. Why would a 4* athlete want to sit on the bench behind 5* studs?

Does he really think he's better than them and wants to prove it? That seems to be more risky than going to a school like UK where he'd be the sure starter and his talents would be on display a lot more.

If he really thinks he's better than Bama's other choices for QB, it makes sense to me that he'd want to be the big fish in the smaller pond rather than be in a lake with fish that are bigger than him.

Any gumps got a take on this thought?
