No, just counter pointing his use as a proof source for great coaches who kept their cool. Keeping a known pedophile on campus and allowing him to run a camp full of boys, by action or inaction makes Paterno a fricking count of a human and a disgrace to the profession....

I understand. but he was one of the winningest football coaches in the history of the game. Surely you aren't going to argue this point?

he was a disgrace as a human being for allowing Sandusky to do that. However, he was a great coach.

I guess my Tom Landry suggestion doesn't count? I mean...we can go back and forth all day, but it all boils down to this.....you don't have to show rage to be a great football coach. That does not make one great. There are plenty of great coaches that kept their cool. There are plenty of great football coaches that showed emotion. To say you have to rage along the sideline to be great is just.....a dumb thing for anyone to say.

Dawgonit didn't use Paterno as an example. I did. I reread and think you got confused.
