Mizzou at 5.5 is about right, IMHO.

My "too early prediction" has been 5-7 to 7-5. I say ANY bowl game will be good. 5-7 or below means that HCBO has some real work to do.

If they "lay it" on WVU, that will bode well...I hope.

That means you are an AA/All-SEC 1st teamer, "Sunday ready", 6'6" 350# LT. You and your twin brother (RT) are starting. Damn glad to have y'all.

I say 6 wins and a bowl game at least. I hope its not more because we would likely be 7 or more. This is a rebuilding year for Missouri but I think y'all knock off one of Florida, Georgia, or Tennessee.

So a bowl game against a hapless Big 12 team. Which you probably win in a walkover. Arkansas has slowly rebuilt itself with the help of beating up on Big 12 bottom feeders in bowl games.

5-7 is certainly possible, 7-5 as well. I think y'all split the difference, rebuild this year, and put your thang down the year after.

I'm looking at 6 or 7 wins year 1.

The O/U is fair

I got us 3-4 going into the last 5 games. UK, @SC, Vandy, @UT, Arky. How we finish those last 5 games will determine if we win 4, 5, 6 or possibly 7 games.

I think if we beat WVU we'll have a good year 8,9 10 wins...We should have a top 10 defense.

Lets see what we have as of today (before WVU):

Unknown/untested OL that could not beat-out last year's starters.
One undersized RB with experience.
Lack of experienced depth at RB.
Lack of depth at RB and OL period.
A QB that looked bad last year and has shown little that he can be difference maker.
A WR core that looked weak last year without a go-to guy.
New OC, new system, new everything...

How many points did that beautiful top-10 defense score last year??? (It's a team sport.)

So, what do you think...sub .500??? If I am a betting man I would say yes. BUT ya never know until you play the game. I am interested to see if this team comes together under HCBO.

Here's how I see it. We're at least a tad bit, maybe more, better than last year. Last year we had 3 games, 2 of which we still should have won that ended up 7 points or less. That would have been a 7 win season. Im going with 8 wins this year.

Based upon what exactly? Maybe you're drinkin' better/more Tiger Kool-Aid this year? Maybe the competition is a "tad bit" better this year?

would a, should a, could a...

Hell yes, 8 or more wins would be great. But until we see the product on the field, all we have are feelings and wild guesses especially with a new system and staff.

They were both on the road, so for that reason alone, we should see those turn into wins next year.

And for the UGA game, everyone and their mothers know we should have won that game. started off the game just needed a half a yard to win. HALF A YARD. Ross runs that in 10/10 times.

The defense was elite last year and returns 8 guys that started. So it should be elite again this year.
Mizzou gets Kentucky and Vandy at home this year. Which are games that Mizzou should win at home.
So if the new offense and coaches are better than last year it's not hard to see a team that should win at least 7-8 games.
