Last year was the first time we've had a pocket QB with any expectations of being good.
Johnson obviously looked terrible. Could it be because of the offense? Maybe. But his meltdown seemed to be in his own mind to me. Too scared in the pocket. Can't throw the ball forward. Things like that have nothing to do with scheme.
White for the most part looked good (yeah I said it. Suck it GC.

So you could make the argument that we've played a total of 5 1/2ish games with a good pocket QB.
I'm not saying this offense will work with a pocket QB. I'm just saying we haven't seen enough to declare it will not work.
