You totally missed the whole point. I'm referring to the op's title. He clearly stated that it was the attorney's belief. The title is perfectly fine for what is included in the article.

No, you missed it.
The attorney said it's possible, not that he thought it would happen. What he said is what he believes, unless he's lying. Thread title was misleading saying he believed something he didn't say and therefore, apparently, didn't believe.
