I mean I get the ribbing that comes with another team's player(s) getting arrested as it could help an opponent beat said team.
However, let's not kid ourselves in thinking that any of our favorite teams that compete in major SEC football don't have a certain percentage that engage in "thuggish" behavior. We all have them and at some point every team will experience one of their arrests - dismissal/suspension.
I look at these guys as nothing more than entertainment for me on a Saturday. Personally, I don't care one way or the other what they do off of the field as it has no bearing on my personal life.
The ones that are legit NFL talent are nothing more than unpaid mercenaries that are just waiting for the clock to run out so they can bolt and make $.
All I want is for our mercenaries to win more games than the other guy.

If you don't want to be called a tpos, don't act like a tpos.

That's exactly right. Nothing you can do. People are not going to pay to watch 5'11 175 pound guys majoring in engineering, so you have to take what you get with some of these freaks of nature that for a lot of them if it were not for football who knows what they would be doing.

There are white thugs and black thugs. In this case they're black. Get over it.

Riding around smoking blunts while strapped with stolen pistols is the definition of being a thug

Roger is being racist and I for one don't appreciate it

But in all honesty who cares? Do you think BAMA is just going to go without a LT this year? They will just plug the hole with another 6'6" 320 pound freak with a similar background. Just like any other SEC team would do. Life goes on and its next potential Thug up!

It would make zero sense to call a black person a "thug" if they weren't thuggish.
The point is many don't use the term for white "thugs".

How do you know this?

Stolen firearms is literally thug behavior.

Guys, ya'll are missing the point. White/black it doesn't matter. We all have them on our teams.

I'd call a white player who had the same charges a thug.
And that's fine, it's also fine if you only used it fir black people. I don't care either way, but the claim was that we were being honest in this thread. I honestly laugh at the coy use of thug by many

don't care either way, but the claim was that we were being honest in this thread.
Then you hedged by saying some people only call blacks who get in trouble thugs. What people?
Talk about honesty and you'really just broadly calling people racist for use of a word with zero evidence or logic to back it up
