You're welcome!

He lets them live there lives because they have the right to but a coach can only do so much. He does talk about his faith with recruits because it is who he is but they don't have to be about that. Maybe I learned a different Christianity but the teachings I got is to be with people that need you and don't force them to change but try to help them. I know this is rant and people use anything to judge others but the ones that talk about being a Christian and then turn around to judge the way Freeze handles his faith off assumptions are a interesting way of being Christians. To each their own so it's not me to judge it but it's interesting to me.

The staff I agree with he is responsible I agree with. Some coachs don't believe in micro managing but they are responsible
The athletic department runs it self and there are thing that go on with the AD that is not a place that a coach should be.

It depends on how well the infractions are being hidden from him
I doubt they are as severe and frequent as many on here speculate

So you mean you don't think they're getting the death penalty?

How could Saban had known unless he had a GPS on his coach? Things happen you can't control that's life but he handled it properly once you learn of it. There are thing they are expected to know about but they can't know everything.
Yes they are responsible for their program but to think a coach or CEO knows everything that is going on is ridiculous. If there are some $100 boaster handshakes a coach can't be expected to know every time something like that happens. If a coach goes off on their own and does something stupid how could a head coach know. They need to do the best they can and then handle it properly when it does happen. If the athletic department is working with a player on something that is a responsibility of the athletic department the coach wouldn't be involved unless it was needed. Yes up to a certain point you have to be able to catch but not everything.

So you don't thnk he knew about the cheating? Ok. What about he rampant spice epedimic among his players? The coaches making hotel rooms available to get hug so as to not bring public attention? Do you think the players thought of that? They have apartments to get high in. You don't think the hotel employees recognize the players? Sooner or later, word would have made it back to Freeze. Kimdeechees drug use was widely known around Oxford and the campus. Freeze is the only one that didn't know about it? RK kept playing. How about lying about an innocent man trying to keep his step son from risking millions and getting his arse kicked for it! Ruining his life to protect a violent player. I mean if it were true, it would've came out in court. But it didn't. It's obvious he blatantly lied. Watch how he throws his players under the bus this year when the start 1-3. Possibly 2-5.

Well there you have it, an official position from an Aggie.
It does not get any more important or official than when an Aggie proclaims all is well.
The problems at Ole Piss probably look pretty good to you compared to the mess at aTm.
No wonder there are so many aggie jokes in Texas.
We can all sleep better now that you have made you official statement.

Sometimes, people put their faith in the wrong people and choose to believe they can do no wrong......

When did I ever say I believe every coach knows about everything that goes on in his program? Of course it is impossible to truly know everything, but he still holds some responsible. That is all I'm really getting at here. In theroy this could happen to a lot of coaches and probably does but ignorance is not a good excuse.
To be clear as well, I'm not even saying Freeze has done anything wrong yet. There is still a lot of speculation but my point is that he is responsible for his program.

See when I saw the "my official position" in the title I was worried this was going to be about the relative merits of missionary vs cowgirl. You are a good guy, but that would have been way TMI buddy.

I'm actually a state grad and fan. Not sure why you directed that comment at me.

I would advise you not to get so emotionally involved with the Ole Miss situation and Freeze. Ole Miss is going to get hit, and get hit hard. In the end, I don't think Freeze is a bad person, but someone who likely turned a deaf ear to all the seediness that was going on in Ole Miss recruiting. He's just not the type of dude that can play dumb to the given situation very well. He realizes that.
