Then no love lost on either side...Freeze did not want them and vice versa. I'd call that an even trade off.
There are NO character issues with Hugh Freeze...only insinuation or downright lies by those who cannot stand to see Ole Miss succeed.
As for religion not being the character issue, you cannot separate Hugh Freeze's faith and character in categories. He will not give you that option.
He is not a hypocrite and not a phony no matter how many times people attack him with lies.
I hope we keep him a long time too. he's not a super hero and he is human enough to admit he makes mistakes, but he models excellent values and is not ashamed to claim Jesus as his role model.
Will he win every player over? NO! Why? It is up to every individual to make the choice in matters of faith.
Not every player at Ole Miss will be a Christian or become one, but he/she will play for a man who will not be ashamed to stand up for his beliefs, and he will always try to guide his players.
He is NOT responsible if a player makes bad choices. He is not with them 24 hours a day. If the situation calls for it, he handles the good and the bad where his team is concerned.
I hope he's here a long time too!

UF didn't want Freeze. I don't care if he's a cheat or not. He can cheat or not cheat all he wants at OM.
None of that matters because YAOM.

You speak in absolutes like you actually know the man. Do you know him? Otherwise you come across very biased.
