After the win today, Auburn is 10th. 1.5 games out of 5th

There’s a lot of movement early in the season. I think this team finish in 5-7 range with a winning conference record

I think the key will be when we play teams who have very good defensive guards will they be able to disrupt Cooper's abilities to drive or find the open shooter.

I think to reach those goals you mention, we need desperately to have Powell back to provide that guard relief for Cooper. while Cooper draws the defense to him, that leave Powell open for good looks at 3's and drives to the basket too.

Powell also provides better ball handling when we are pressured.

So I think we need Powell in there to meet those goals, when we play the UTs, Alabamas, LSUs, etc...

Now 8th. 1 game out

5th is an artificial benchmark but it goes to show how a couple of games can change your place in the standings this early in SEC play
