This is not a good take.

Who would take him? He isn't a tree. His FT shooting isn't good. He can't make a mid-range or three consistently. He is very athletic, but he isn't tall enough to consistently drive to the hoop.............when everybody knows that is all he can do right now.

To your credit, I agree he isn’t very precise on offense. That will come. It’s his defense and IQ that’s draftable. Kawhi Leonard type player with hopefully a similar offensive maturation.

Okoro’s weaknesses are things that can be taught and learned. What he excels at is very hard to teach. He’s likely a first round pick right now. I wouldn’t be shocked if he comes back if he goes late first or early second.

There is not "but." He is very athletic, plays great defense and pretty soft touch around the rim.

Every NBA team thinks they can teach shooting better than college programs
