Darren McFadden had 183 more carries during his time at Arkansas compared to Derrick Henry and his time at Alabama, while also playing with a team with much less talent all the way around (offensive line, wide receiver, quarterback, tight end). Yards per carry when comparing the two is meaningless, IMO, and Darren McFadden was clearly the better college player. Alabama also currently has a better offensive mind calling and preparing the offense.
Darren McFadden should definitely be #3 behind Herschel Walker and Bo Jackson.

Lot of truth in this statement.

I can't believe there is anyone attempting to argue that Henry was better than DMAC. DMAC carried a mediocre Arkansas team. He'd have been a no brainier Heisman winner had he played for Bama. DMAC is the best running back I've seen in my lifetime, with Fournette potentially taking that spot next year.
I was young when Bo and Herschel were playing so I can't comment on them in the same way I can Henry and DMAC.
