During Auburns Spring Game I finally lost faith in Gus. Watching him continue to roll out Jeremy Johnson onto the field as he went 3-8 and -21 yards rushing was embarrassing. Unless JF3 can come out and duplicate what Nick Marshall did and win more than 9 games Gus is gone. I hope I'm wrong about this year but anything short of competing for the SEC title will not be enough considering the last couple years. I do expect exponential improvements on the defense, finally seeing depth and DL will be Top 3 in conference

**The spring game is the straw the broke the camels back. It was horrible. Auburn has regressed since our title run in 2013.**
My top 3 targets
Mark Dantonio Michigan St- has the consecutive values and mindset that Auburn looks for. Consistently delivers great defenses without elite recruits.
Jeremy Pruitt- Loved his LB play and the way his DBs have always played especially while at FSU. Great recruiting ties down in Florida.
Tom Herman- Hottest coach in CFB. Electric, players coach, part of a great coaching tree. Develops QBs well.

Auburn can't afford to fire Gus. Same reason Les is still at LSU.

I don't like it. Everyone is too sensitive and I miss the brotherhood. I got kicked out for medical, my surgeries and injuries caught up to me.

Is this the general sentiment at Auburn? Because I could see Gus another year even the next is bad.

No it's definitely not. Yeah Gus may be in trouble if he wins six games again, but he'll be fine if he wins 8.

Why wouldn't any of those coaches consider it? Auburns played for the title twice in the last 6 years. Top pay and ability to get top recruits. Plus it's in the best conference in football not sure why Tom Herman wouldn't listen or Pruitt wouldn't take a HC job. Dantonio would be a stretch but we can pay well.
