We're building this roster with solid role players much like Mullen had at State. We've beaten Carolina two in a row, came close with Florida a few times, beat Missouri. Gotta do more than that though to take another step up the ladder. So many games the last two seasons where one play was the difference between a W and an L. These outside idiots don't remember any of that they just see the 5-7 records. The progress is real and I expect it to continue.

5-7 means you suck. It doesn't take much to win two conference games and pick up four cupcake wins to get to 6-6.

I think Miss. State has better recruiting in their state. I would liken our situation is closer to Oklahoma state and their ability to pull talent out of Texas. Also maybe Oregon with california.

I hope we don't mercy knee you pussies again. We're gonna drop another 50 bomb on you, that's inevitable, but I'm not satisfied with just 50 anymore.

Butch Jones improves his records by two games a year and lots of people on here still don't think he's making UT any better. I highly, HIGHLY doubt you'll persuade the same people to think Stoops is making progress when his record didn't improve last year and he still has yet to make a bowl.

Stoops is indeed building up the roster and UK would probably make a decent showing in the weakest division of the Big 10. The problem is UK still has a huge talent gap when compared to teams like UF, UGA, and UT. Even USC's roster has more talent.
UK needs to focus on beating Mizzou, Vanderbilt, USCe, and/or Louisville. Win three out of those four and take care of the cream puffs on your schedule and that will get the Cats bowl eligible which would go a long way towards starting to recruit a decent SEC roster.
